Water is the foundation of life.
We all need it every day.
But yet it gets wasted.
We encourage people to save water, right there, where water is used.

With a range of bathroom products, you stop wasting water:

No. Our soaps, shower gels, shampoos and conditioners as well as our toothpaste should be used with water just like any other similar care product. However, our aim is to make you (and everybody who enters your bathroom) conscious of your attitude to water. Because water is a precious resource and even if you don’t live in a region at risk of water shortages, you still don’t live in a bubble.

That sounds like a tricky one, but it’s actually quite simple. The pipe problem in Germany wouldn’t be solved even if everyone wasted more water. It’s about changing the pipes to fit new situations. When people leave rural areas for the cities, these areas need smaller pipes. That might be expensive, but it’s still no reason to waste water. What’s more, wasting hot water is always also a waste of energy.

This is an initiative we launched to support innovative and intelligent water projects in regions that suffer from water shortages. Since 2014, we are helping to install fog collectors in Tanzania and are constantly looking for new fascinating projects around the world. Find out more here. And by the way: you can donate to Good Water Projects with every purchase you make in our webshop. Save water – donate water!

No. We have omitted synthetic colourings and aromas from our range, and only use natural, essential oils to fragrance our products. Our natural care range does not contain any silicon, paraffin or other petroleum-based raw materials. And it never will.

Yes, because we only use natural ingredients that don’t react with the chemicals used to colour or dye hair. No restrictions here. As for sensitive skin: people with skin allergies can benefit from our products’ gentle, mild care.

The ingredients are fully biodegradable. The packaging is also recyclable and refillable.

Of course not. When we developed our products, we did not use animal testing even though it was permitted in the EU at that time. After all, it would be strange to care about water while not caring about animals. Today, animal testing for cosmetics is banned in the EU, India, Israel and Norway. You could say we were ahead of our time.

Only the Lemon Honey Soap contains honey, all the other products are vegan.

Because unfortunately the ingredients for natural cosmetics are more expensive - at least if you choose quality. Our products are not mass-produced and don’t contain cheap ingredients from the lab. For example, the brazil nuts we use come from sustainable farming in the Peruvian rainforest and provide half the annual income of thousands of harvesters and their families.
